Limelite HR & Learning was founded in 2020 by Lisa Murphy FCIPD, and we’ve grown into one of the most recognised HR and people development consultancies in the Midlands. We work with everyone from local SMEs and charities to some big names you’ll recognise.

We’re not a faceless outsourced HR department or a call centre. We’re a small, brilliant team of real HR professionals who actually care. Every client we work with gets senior, hands-on support from people who’ve been in their shoes and know what good looks like.

Our clients have included McLaren Automotive; Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons – Raymond Blanc’s two Michelin Star Country House; 22 Bishopsgate – the Tallest Skyscraper in London City (yes, the one on The Apprentice); NHS Charities Together and a leading national news channel, with whom we’ve delivered two large organisational change projects so far.

Whilst we love working with well known organisations, we have great relationships with our local council and have also helped over forty start-up and SME organisations across Worcestershire to access HR support completely free of charge using government funding.

Limelite Giving Back

We believe great organisations do more than turn a profit, they become an active community member. CEO, Lisa Murphy FCIPD, previously volunteered as Chair of the Hereford and Worcester CIPD, supporting HR professionals across the region, and was also trustee for a local charity and a school Governor.  In 2025, Limelite proudly became the headline sponsor for our client, the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust’s, Charity Ball. And we’re delighted to announce that for 2026/27 we’re now sponsors of the Hereford and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Professional Services Forum, supporting professionals in sectors we work with every day.

About Lisa

Lisa Murphy FCIPD, Founder and CEO

Lisa founded Limelite in 2020 after a multi-award winning career leading teams across the education, charity and private sectors. She’s a Fellow of the CIPD, a qualified DiSC facilitator and trainer, and a recognised voice in the HR, leadership and inclusion space.

She’s spoken at the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Conference on Inclusive Leadership, contributed to People Management magazine many times, and has been a guest on numerous industry podcasts including her own podcast, HR Directors Cut. She has a large LinkedIn following, and shares practical HR insight every week that reaches thousands of leaders and professionals.

Outside the business, Lisa is parent to two neurodiverse children and often talks about this area of expertise, she served as Chair of the CIPD Hereford & Worcestershire branch, trustee of a charity and school governor, alongside growing her business. She cares deeply about the communities she works in and is passionate about creating inclusive and successful businesses by getting the best out of people.

  • At YMCA Worcestershire, we have been through a period of substantial change and development. As part of this we refreshed our vision, mission and values. We also did some solid work in creating a strategic framework with top line objectives. While we had done some preliminaries on further development of this into measurables, a challenge of capacity issues with a need for more operational focus was emerging. We were keen to get through this bottleneck because we knew the strategic planning and implementation would help to ease the operational challenges.

    We were very grateful to get Workforce Planning support for this through consultancy work with Limelite HR who reviewed what we’d done so far, liaised with key staff members and helped us to harness this into a more complete and workable format.
